Editorial AssessmentHave you written a chapter or a book and you're ready to take the leap and find out if there's a there there? An editorial assessment is the first step. I'll review your manuscript and give you some broad feedback on the work's strengths and weaknesses, as well as suggestions for further development.

Developmental EditingDo you have a big idea you want to share with the world, but need help planning the article, chapter, or book you'll use to share it? Have you already written your chapter or book but you need someone to dig into the content and structure and recommend big-picture revisions? You need a developmental editor!
Line/Copy EditingLine or copy editing happens after your work has been revised, reshaped, and developed to align your content with your goals and the needs of your target audience. Once you've addressed those big-picture issues, you're ready for a line or copy editor. At this stage, I'll review your work line by line (hence the name) to address issues of style, word choice, consistency, and grammar.
ProofreadingProofreading is the LAST stage of the editorial process. You're ready for a proofreader if you've already developed and revised your work and you've had a line or copy editor check for style, clarity, consistency, and grammar. During the proofreading stage, I'll put my eagle eyes on your final manuscript and inspect your work one last time for any typos, spelling errors, and grammar mistakes.
